Looking into the true fact, the rotational formula for the office of the Governor, which has been in practice since 1991 when late Obong Akpan Isemin from Ibibio in Uyo Senatorial District became a Governor through a consensus arrangement. It is on record that the Ibibio (first son) also took another slot between 1999 and 2007 through Arc Obong Victor Attah, upon the agreement of rotating the seat of the governor among the three ethnic groups in the interest of peace and harmonious co-existence. Annang (second son) in Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District is currently enjoying its turn through Chief Godswill Akpabio, it will totally amount to gross injustice and marginalization if the Oro (third son) from Eket Senatorial District is not allowed to succeed Governor Akpabio in 2015.
The agreement was on rotation that is first son take the first position, second son second position and third son the third position, now Ibibio as the first son as completed their turn let me say under the leadership of Arc Obong Victor Attah and Annang the second son currently running their turn under the leadership of Gov. Godswill Akpabio then what is the big deal there to let the third son "Oron" take his own part of the deal? Or as Eket become an ethnic group in place of Oro? This question is yet to ask and until this question is ask and answered truthfully there will never be an end to the on going battle.
For over 30 years now Oron man is yet to take over the senate, the last time an Oron man was seen in the senate of this country was in 1983 and that was the late Victor Akan this is 26 years+ of the existence of our dear state and an Oro Man is yet to take over the throne of leadership why? Obong Victor Attah took over the governoship both his first and second term with the help of an Oron man that was the late Joe Atting and Late Chief Tony Emenyi and in 2007 and an Oron man push Akpabio to the hill-top only to respect the rotating agreement of our father's at the creation of the state that was Otu Ita Otoyo my grand mother's brother and 2011 Hon. Oyong fought in respect of the same Akpabio yet Akpabio's lawyer Uwemedimo Nwoko have the gods to accuse Oron in his impromptu statement that Oron was not in support of his master mean while Oro was the centre Akpabio's campaign I was an eye witness of all political events that took place in Oro its a pity for this type of unresponsible lying from and educated man what have we not done to Ibibio and Annang to sustain peace? Now it as come to our turn instead of giving that little consideration to the ethnic that has worked so hard for the stability of this state and its leadership, you are now addressing them as minority. Now if a state like Akwa Ibom has three ethnic groups, there is a compelling need for governoship job to be shared among these three's and through a rotational formula.
My brothers and sisters if we must be in peace, we must rise above all this selfish sentiment and pave way for democratic practices in this country. It points to political immaturity and sheer insensitivity to the plights of others for an individual or a section of the state to selfishly dissipates energies in struggling for powers against the popular demands of the people against zoning which is even in the constitution of respective political parties in the country.
To this end the present Gov. Must hand over power to an Oron man because it is time for Ibibio and Annang to pay us back by giving us full support against 2015 and if in any case they both try to snatch this Wright from us again then I suggest I must sue them to court let them come out and tell us why they do not want to give us our own share of our father's inheritance, let them come and tell us if Eket is now the third ethnic group in Akwa Ibom explaining how and when I if care is not taken this leadership singings will lead to the division of the state after all Oro is big with enough resources to be a self made state.

A father has three male children the elder, the younger and the youngest, if the father want to share his inheritance won't he share it to his three male children? Or if unfortunately the father died won't his properties be share to his three male children? is it constitutional to deprive the third child from his own right? This is the first question we need to call on Ibibio and Annang to ask if they can answer this question then we will know our stand whether we corporate or not let our right be shifted to us. At the creation of our beloved state Akwa Abasi Ibom State on the 23rd day of September 1987, the arrangement and agreement was based on ethnic group which is Ibibio, Annang and Oro not senatorial if it would have been on senatorial did you know that Eket Senatorial District would have been the first on the throne with the majority of 12 LGAs? Follow by Ikot Ekpene with 10 LGAs lastly by Uyo with 9 LGAs the least. Coming back to Eket the power would have been shifted to the biggest constituency which is Oro Federal Constituency with 5 LGAs the biggest constituency in Nigeria this show that no matter the political tricks coming out from different corners of the state Oro as a notion and ethnic stand a better chance to take the mantle of leadership.
