NEW BIRTH

Passage John 3:1-13 John 3:3 "Jesus answered and said unto him, very, very, i say unto thee, except a man is born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God." WHAT IS NEW BIRTH This is the creation if a new life in a man by the Holy Spirit. The bible let us know that everyone born of woman is unclean-Psalms 51:5. Therefore, in order to become clean as well as enlist as a member of the family of God, a new birth becomes necessary. REASON FOR NEW BIRTH 1. Every man is born a sinner or unclean- Romans 3:23. This portion Bible let us know that everyone of are sinners and Psalms 51:5 we see that it is in sin that our mother conceicve us. 2. The heart of man is desperately wicked. We human, we are very wicked in our heart we do not keed the commandment of God. Jeremiah 17:23 can prove that most of us are purposely wicked. 3. Formal education or otherwise cannot convert the heart of man. Can the Ethiopian change his skin, or the leopard his sport? Then they may also do good, that are accustomed to do evil Jeremiah 13:23, this tell us that no mater knowledgeable we are we can only be converted unless by new birth. 4. It is important to change our wicked ways because this the only way we can have fellowship with God even while we are here on earth- Psalms 51:17,10,12. 5. To get to heaven after this life you must experience a new birth- John 3:3-5; Hebrews 12:14; 1Peter 1:15-16; read Psalms 4:3 and Galatians2:20 Therefore, in order to be a member of the family (body) of Christ we need a new birth. STEPS TO A NEW BIRTH 1. Acknowledge that you are a sinner- Romans 3:23 2. Acknowledge that man is hopeless and helpless without God's mercy. 1Thessalonian 5:9 3. Believe in the Lord and His words. 1Peter 1:25 4. Believe in Jesus as God who came down in the flesh in form of man to save mankind from destruction. Titus 2:11; John 1:14; Acts 4:12; John 3:16-18. 5. Confess your sins to Jesus. Romans 10:10; John 1:9. 6. Repent genuinely from your sins. 2Corinthians 2:7 7. Accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior. 8. Invite Him to come and dwell in your heart. John 1:12 9. After this, believe that the new birth has take place in your life. 2Corinthians 5:17. 10. Believe Jesus and you will be saved. CONCLUTION Though we are saved by grace- Ephesians 2:4-9, the new birth requires that we make up our mind to live a new life in the love and fear of God.- Philipians 2:12; Proverbs 28:18; Matthew 24:13. Take your stand in the family of God by asking God to rebirth you now go ahead and pray.

President Goodluck Jonathan Igbo group threatens to sue British govt. As the country marks 100 years of its existence, Nigerians have urged the federal government to brace up for future challenges and to work harder to ensure a  prosperous nation. They urged government at all levels and stakeholders to work together in addressing the myriad of problems facing the country.
